Finance people

Again I'm stuck making my schedule for the fall I need to go full time but there are only so many classes towards my major that I can take now.
My advisor told me just find some elective that I want to take (don't see any that stick out to me) I'm looking on my schools website for a class to help me understand the basics on investment banking. Now I don't want to be an investment banker I just want to take class. My question to you guys is which of these courses provides me with basic knowledge on how trading and investing works, also I don't really want a course that's going to be too much of a load due to my other courses that I have to take.

All I see are:
Personal Financial Planning
Principles of Finance
and there's another class just called Investments but I'm sure there are prerequisites for that course (they don't say them online)


I don't have a course catalog with me at the moment so there isn't a description on any of those classes, but I think that Personal Financial Planning is what I'm looking for.....just want to see what any people who majored in finance think before I go annoy my advisor again

Um, you pay the 20 or so thousand per year so that you can annoy your adviser. Get your tuition worth.

true, she's an engineering advisor too though.
Not too sure how helpful she would be in regards to a finance class
