Firefox 5/Safari help

So I'm using safari but I can't see most pics/any avi's right now. Is there a setting I need to fix, anyone familiar with any issue like this?
I've only been on NT using safari so far browsing before work but this is irritating me. All I have are the blue boxes with ? in them(similar to looking at flash windows on an iPhone. Is that just how it is?

Also I'm assuming this was my version only, but I tried upgrading to firefox 5 and you can't scroll without the window bugging out, almost like it wasn't downloaded properly, I was wondering if anyone knew if this was an issue or anything? I had version 3.6 before upgrading

i think the avy's issue is because of yuku & their "upgrade" or whatever happened yesterday
the pics might also be a yuku issue but i dunno about that.
& imo firefox 3.6>>4 or 5, so i would consider downgrading back to 3.6 if i were you
