been drivin for 5 years never got into an accident, never got a ticket or pulled over, until yesterday..
chp got me,  i was supposedly doing 82 in the 65.

also the !*$+* is tryin to get me with driving with no insurance. the only thing i'm mad about is;
ijust bought this car about 6 days ago. i had just literally came from smoggin the car, and i was on the way to dmv so i could register the damn car. i even showed all the damn papers pinkslip smog papers dmv etcetc.. but that's my fault and i'm assuming i'msol about driving with no insurance.?

but since this is my first offense would they go light on me, or should i still expect to pay up a hefty fine?
fml

also when you show up to court and the officer is not there, you get dismissed and don't have to pay nothin? if that's the case do you automatically get dismissed or do you have to ask? but what are the odds that the +*+%% doesn't show up anyways?

"Going light" on you may just reduce how much you went over the speed limit. Thats about it. Which could also lower the fines, I cant remember if the fines correlates to how much you were going over.

And theres a chance the cop wont show up, but he probably will.

Go to court. Sometimes the officer doesn't show up and they drop the charge. If he does show up, plead guilty and mention that you are willing to go to traffic school. The judge might lower the fine.

Go register the +$%$$, and get SOME ***# ING INSURANCE

Take ALL documentation to court, judge will be easy. I've seen it happen to quite a few people.

i registered it that same day. right now i'm still shoppin around for insurance. which reminds me i got a question, now that i JUST received that ticket, when i fill out insurance quotes, and they ask for violations or accidents, would i count this one? since i have yet to go to court and be proven guilty/pay any fines. or should i still put down that i did have a violation? since i did get a ticket...

Don't bring it up, don't mention it.

They'll find out soon enough, give yourself a grace period. Dont do their work for them .
