Go to Account>Privacy Settings>Applications and Websites>Instant Personalization>at bottom of page Edit Settings, and un-check "Enable". BTW if your friends don't do this, they will be sharing information about you.

so i got like 10 messages about this and lo and behold... they putting EVERYTHING YOU SAY ON FACEBOOK on the entire internet. this is not cool at all.

This was part of my initial concern with facebook (deleted mine a year ago) But when they cataloged your year in statuses i was like wait they archive all my status messages?  This is going to be a huge money maker.

Websites now have the direct email addresses of every person that fits their demographic on facebook.  Facebook can now sell your personal info to any company and they can bombard you with email about their products.
