The Free sole definitely kills the premium feel. The lunar sole has a better form and a much more interesting and higher quality visual presence. Not liking any pics I've seen of the Free sole on a Chukka yet. Not at all.

Also, the Lunar sole is IMO clearly more comfortable than the free sole, which is why I'll be passing on the Chukka frees.

The general consensus is true to size. Unless, you're referring to the FSBs. In that case, size down accordingly.

Completely read my mind. There is no doubt if I was given the choice between the two and I had no idea what htm's were. I'd grab the htm's, sell it, and get me 2-3 pairs of my favorites.

The quality of the htm weave and design blow the squads out of the water. The HTMs have more detail.

^i don't doubt that. But I don't care about superb quality when it comes to casual shoes. The regular chukkahs are superb enough for me.
