FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

realistically how many servings of fries do you think you get?
after one serving i don't need a whole thing of more fries
I eat a lot less these days so maybe 1 or 2.

But a year or two ago I’d prolly tell you 3-5 depending on how long my dinner plans went.

Subway Tuna is undefeated

In a newly filed California class action lawsuit, Subway has once again been accused of deceiving customers with its Tuna Sandwich option.

Despite claiming that the menu offering contains “100 percent tuna,” tests conducted by marine biologists noted in the lawsuit found “no detectable tuna DNA sequences.” From 20 samples acquired at different Subway locations throughout Southern California, all 20 samples contained detectable sequences of chicken DNA, 11 contained traces of pork DNA and seven featured cattle DNA.

Serving as the third lawsuit filed by Karen Dhanowa and Nilima Amin, the two states, the “Defendants do not take sufficient measures to control or prevent the known risks of adulteration to its tuna products.” Adding, “On the contrary, they actively perpetuate actions and steps that encourage mixing or allowing non-tuna ingredients to make their way into the tuna products.” Dhanowa and Amin are seeking unspecified damages from Subway for violations of California consumer protection laws.

I want some good boba with the right sweet level and creamy texture but any place near me is so watery and don't really get it. Not everyone should have got in on the bubble tea boom.

Cheers mate - I’m not like some of the other NTers who only do those Micheelin star stuff

I don't know what that is, but I'm sure it's some kind of fancy restaurants with exorbitant prices and little portions. I avoid those types of restaurants because I think you're just paying for food with a flashy presentation.

I don’t trust anyone who thinks they’re too good for Red Robin’s unlimited fries.

I normally eat 2 servings of fries before the burger comes to my table. I also eat the fries that come with the burger.

I basically eat a total of 3 servings at each visit to be specific.

Been thinking we really need to change the format of this thread, unsure how though. Will think up some ideas in the coming weeks and days.
