Oh Subway cookies are damn good . Just meant the price Insomnia charges for a similar cookie I'd rather just get em from Subway but then again they do have the custom flavors going foe them. Snickerdoodles does sound good & can't be found in Subway.

What you described at the end sounds like CHIP, lol. Chip ruined cookies from me but in a good way. Their cookies have set the bar so damn high that anything less seems like a waste to me, lol. Cookie dealer comes close in terms of thickness & flavor choices to Chip.

This all makes sense. For example to establish a Mexican eatery in The Bronx or The Heights can be possible but would be insane competition from Dominicans & Puerto Ricans. On Roosevelt that'd be a whole lot easier. What is pernil? Speaking of yum Latino cuisine I drove by a Colombian Bakery near my gym...going to stop in sometime next week & see what's up there. Any idea what those fried Colombian dough balls are called? They are a dessert food.

Pernil is pork shoulder made in the oven. It’s delish! And I think you are thinking of bueñuelos on the Colombian dough cheesy balls

Lol I was expecting a nice list of veggie choices & than I see the "No" . Your spot was able to keep the mini lunch @ $5 even post pandemic? Given the economical mess we are in & inflation rising the prices of pretty much everything A-Z, that's kind of impressive. Walmart's baked bread was a dollar & just a few weeks ago they up'd it to $1.78. Gallon of milk was a great $1.75...will see how much it is now my next trip out there next day off. Do you or any of your friends/family know any "halal" Dominican/Latino spots? There is La Estacion out in Brentwood, Long Island but that's Latino food being cooked by Pakistanis . Halal Latino joints are far & few but there's plenty of Muslim Dominicans & Latinos in general all over NYC so there HAS to be a 1 or 2 hidden gems out there. I must find out

Its nothing special its your average Spanish food spot in the Bronx, though I do prefer theirs over a few others ive tried in the area. But yeah its still $5, with a can of cake and tax its like under $7. Bargain.

Lots to do out there. Jazz clubs, food spots as far as the eyes can see, hookah joints, tattoo shops etc...can get hectic though. I like LES... in small doses. Always hella crowded there & large crowds give me anxiety.

Just lost $40 on Nasty Buffalo Wild Wings.

First my order took 42 minutes when they said 30 minutes
Expecting my wings to be hot n fresh for waiting so long… no, I get like warm wings not hot n fresh.
Then no sauces to dip my wings,
My Tater tots box had only 5 tater tots in it!!! 5 only bro!!
Then 4 cups of carrots & celery were also missing.
No napkins, utensils nothing.
The entire experience was ****ed by this.

Out of the $40 I lost for this bull****, the manager offered to refund only $12 of the dollars.

Like… the entire experience was ****ed, not just $12 worth of it. They shoulda comped the whole thing, horrible place. ****ing bull**** yo.
