My Grandmother on my mom's side was Romanian and I never heard her in all the time I knew her (nor her brother or sister) say anything about Romanian food, let alone try to get my family to eat any. Find it hard to believe that would be the case if there was anything particularly special about it.
My top 3 cuisines are Mexican, Indian and Thai in no order.
