If anyone is in the Boston area I highly reccomend getting about 10 of your friends and making a reservation at the Citizens Public House for the pig roast, great time and great food

I hope I don't come off as culturally insensitive so forgive before hand.

Is Ramen made at spots THAT much better than Oodles N Noodles? I personally can't move myself to buy ramen at a spot when I know I can make some good instant ramen. What is it about ramen outside of the home that people are willing to spend $?

If you go to Ramen houses that make the ramen in house, fresh everyday, there is a huge difference. Just within the noodles alone, the texture is completely different with a more heartier bite and chew to the noodle as opposed to the instant noodles that disintegrate in your mouth. Throw in real ingredients as opposed to the MSG powders that come in instant noodles and you'll definitely have a different experience.

I completely get where you're coming from, but it's definitely worth a try at least once. Nothing beats the taste of fresh ramen noodles with miso and some melt in your mouth pork belly!

Pizza is pizza, right? The frozen variety versus the one you buy?

Ramen is the best served fresh at a restaurant.
