Damn. I want some prime rib. The prices of prime rib and the beef tenderloin i've been looking at in Costco has me keep putting off buying though.
 
Most stores have them on sale for $6 a pound.. I usually buy a whole bunch.. Cut most of them up in big *** steaks or keep them in a roast freeze then eat throughout the year

Special for nye tonight at what could possibly be my last night at our restaurant.
Filet, slow roasted balsamic glazed cherry tomatoes, roasted baby carrots, tri color fingerling potatoes, & smoked tomato jam.

I made french onion soup

I made tri tip and a potato/mushrom/veggie medley 

I made ribeye, bangers, and another similar potato/mushroom/veggie medley for christmas

I also had dim sum on Christmas morning

I had pho

I had Jimboys and they put ******* parmesan on their tacos

I had kebab at a Halal market thats way too far from my work and made me take like a 90 minute lunch

I had some weird Egyptian shawarma or something, I liked it

I had Chipotle after tweeting @ Chipotle, and having some guy named Shane assure me that they've "ran thousands of tests and no E Coli", and then the next day there were more reports of E Coli.

So far I don't think I have E Coli.

So I'll be going to Japan with a few of my boys next year and I really wanna dine at Jiro's for sushi. Anybody have any advice on how to score a reservation there?
 

how do you go about making potatoes as sides for steaks and stuff?

should i cut them and boil first before sauteeing?
