FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Awesome. Thank you.

Also forgot to ask you how you liked Tilted Barn?
I actuallynever had the chance to go. Last time I was up there we couldn’t get there before 5 on Sunday because we were coming from Boston and had gone to brunch first.

My brother swears by it though and one of his friends helped build the brewery

Gonna try to make another trip up sometime in the next month or so.

Favorite sweet crepe: Marshmallow, dark chocolate, whipped cream.

Favorite savory crepe: Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, chives & dill sauce.

I don't think I've ever had Crepes before. Am I missing out on something? Just looks like thin pancakes.

Yes

The batters are similar but crepes are richer. No baking powder/soda involved

A crepe with no toppings at all is good, while I would never want to eat a plain pancake

The only area where pancakes win is filling you up; the flavor and versatility of crepes makes them superior

Comparison Ford Comparison Ford I texted my brother and he had some additional input…

- Go to Los Andes and not think twice.
- Julian’s for brunch.
- Den Den Cafe Asiana for bibimbap.
- Circe for American.
Reservation is set for Los Andes on Sunday. Saw the menu, looks and sounds awesome
We're doing Circe for lunch before leaving on Tuesday
Definitely gonna hit up Olneyville at least once or twice along the way

Thank you again

Last meal in São Paulo. Dinner in the Sky.
