What is it about these places that make some weird ghost and other form of unnatural beings more common? I lived in Dr for 2 years and saw some wild stuff.for those that know what I'm talking about discuss your stories of your parents or things u witnessed yourself.

it's common when you hit up Asia, my family tell me to never to go to a shrine at dark...

my theory is that compared to the US, these places are

A. much older/have a longer history, leading to a larger pool of local legends and stories can get twisted more and "grow" in terms of legend/hype

B. much more spiritual/religious based, so the people are more inclined to believe in the mystical/magical/folklore

im from cali, live in the philippines now, and i can attest to both here.
