Forget Bonds or A-Rod...this guy may go down as the greatest player we'll ever see.

and like i already said, Pujols has more homers, rbi's, and has hit for a far better average than Bonds at the same point in their careers. but yes, Bonds did steal more bases, walk more, and hit more triples. Bonds had 1 more MVP and 2 more Gold Gloves, while Pujols was finishing second to Bonds in MVP voting during Barry's "prime" and greatest seasons as a 36-40 year old during 2000-2004.

As far as being a complete baseball player there isnt enough steroids in Latin America to make Pujols mentionable to Barry.
if there's not enough in Latin America, maybe Pujols should look in the Bay Area, i hear you can find them there.

I mean I could argue Barry Bonds started playing when he was 21 years old and Albert started when he was 31

if you wanna compare their "first 7 seasons"

I see the logic behind your statements but its only gonna get him regarded as one of the best hitters. (Ill take Ted Williams) He doesnt even have a chance tooutshine ARod because Pujols is a one dimensional player relatively speaking. I wont even waste my time discussing how many Popularity Gloves each of them haswon because that hardly reflects the difference in defensive performance between these two players.

I hear ya, but watch out for this kid. If he ever stops eating, he may very well end up breaking all these records we're talking about now:

Maybe the move to Detroit will motivate him.
