I wouldn't leave it with the ATT store people.
Have ATT get all your contact info. They can contact him. and you two work out a deal. ATT would likely just forget about it, have someone keep it, or it get lost again. It's better in your hands

Guys you really believe him?...if I really wanted to return the phone I would wait till the owner or someone called, which I'm sure it gas happened....no need to know the lock code, this is the reason why we put a lock code on the phone in the first place...now I would come in here and keep it real and ask for help unlocking it, or I would just use google...jussayin.

You do not need to know the lock code if it is an incoming call you can answer it without putting in any codes and then it will just lock after the call has ended.
