Fuelband problem - Rusting screws

Hi everyone,

I was wondering (for those who own a Nike+ Fuelband) if someone found an alternative for the screws that are on the band. They are rusting after sweating or taking your shower 2-3 times.

In addition, I have a kind of skin allergy to stain. (Which I didn't know there was some on the fuelband before i bought it hehe)

So is there a place  that I could find new screws (stainless screws if possible?) Or have you guys found anything to fix that out ?

I contacted Nike and they said they weren't providing any replacements parts (which is normal I guess)

So...? any Ideas to fix that ?

what's speeding up the corrosion is the salt in your sweat. drink more water and cut down on the salt intake to an adequate level.

as for replacement screws head to a hardware store.

No I like this band, it kicks my *** whenever I look it up haha

As for the salt: sorry bro I already have a good nutrition and I drink a lot of water already...

Its just that the screws are already rusted.
