Yes there is stuff you may want that you just can't get for retail or easily. But it's still your choice how much effort you put in to grabbing these.
2 best rules I go by now is.
Never pay more than 30.
Only buy what I absolutely want. No in between or maybe I do maybe I don't.

If really doesn't bother me anymore if I have something or not.
