^It's probably just mandatory to leave it on there since Nike is allowing JB or use one of Nike's most popular styles. I think Rockdeep stated that these Fusion ideas were Nike's own to begin with.

I agree with RockDeep. Some might think it's BS but that is how businesses are ran. I work for a subsidiary and we have to pay our parent company for use of office space in their building, marketing material, phone lines, etc... This is needed to quantify loss/profits for a specific company. Since NIKE is a registered trademark, I would believe that they need to pay for the use of NIKE on which appears on any Jordan Brand product. I'm not saying this is a fact, but what I believe might be going on.

Well Jordan doesnt pay Nike for the use of the logo or word. However the use of materials isn't free and they pay their own fees just like Nike does... and probably more in some cases because they are Jordan. Not sure if Jordan or Converse or Starter or Cole Haan pay rent in Beaverton...but YES.. businesses usually do follow that practice
