Let TP get all he wants without setting up others. Eventually Parker got tired and outside of Duncan, no other Spurs were in rhythm to be able to make anyshots.

Anybody else think the Spurs run as an elite team is over? Kinda bittersweet for me. I've always respected the Spurs, well Tim Duncan mostly. They havebeen our (Lakers) only true rival since our 3peat days. Not the Kings, Celtics, Blazer (Lol kids), Jazz or Cavs...hell the whole league really.

First off, that was in reference to the "Cowboys haven;t won a playoff game" argument. What I stated was that what the hell is sospecial about winning one playoff game when you want your squad to win it all? So let me ask you this question. Did you expect the Cardinals to make it to the superbowl? Did you expect the Giants to win it all last year? Noone did, but the fact that it happened just goes to show that anything can happen in the playoffs. Going to the playoffs puts you in a position to win it all.What irritates me is that you down play other teams success whom made the playoffs while the cowboys didnt even make the playoffs last year. So dont go try and twisting my words. If my team is in a position where I believe they cannot succeed i.e. Spurs without Ginoboli , Cowboys without Owens, I'm going to call it like I see it. I will still sit down and watch every game but I'm not going to be on some depressed #%+% when they go 5-11 when I already had that idea in mind.

The spurs have been too cheap these past few years and not try to get younger talent. Ginobli pretty much determines their success. and he's been hurt backto back years which hasn't allowed them to advance. As contradicting as it may sound, I think a washed up T-mac would help them tremendously.

Spurs are far from over. In a league where every team is 100% healthy Spurs are still right there with LAL and CLE.
TP isn't all that old even though TD and Manu may seem or appear to be aging. Those three for the next two years will still be one of the top trios in theentire league.
They desperately need to pick up depth. Right now they go 4 or 5 deep, and only two players scored in double digits today

Manu is done as an elite player. Dude has aloottt of mileage on him, from the deep playoff runs, Olympics, and the Italian league.
