Govt. Flooded market with the money from the bailout plan. This will only last so long and as a country, we cannot rely on plans like this to bail us out. This bail will only be temporary and inflation will rise higher then ever after. Thats from an economist / accountant view

Plus people adapted to the high gas prices by taking public transportation, there fore less drivers. Many people have continued their new routine riding public transportation.

I think alot of people have sold their suvs and bought small cars as well. And now that people have small cars they arn't going to go out andbuy suvs again just cause gas dropped.

But whatever it is I am very very happy with the prices right now.

I still have $3 gas in my Sentra. Now if only food prices, supposedly inflated because of gas prices, would get back in range.
