For the record, I thought you somehow conned an old lady into forgetting the coinstar money and just took it instead of her. I guess this isn't so bad,just bad decision making since you got fired for a pair of shoes.

1. that job was garbage anyway, i found a new one soon after.
2. although at the time i was feeling salty, i am now content with my termination from that job. it's just not that big of a deal my dude.
3. my moral compass is just fine, i'm actually a really nice person and am very easy to get along with. i try to help others any chance i get.

I used to work at home depot, for a full year... returns desk %%$@# ...learned all the manager's passwords except bookkeeping and did alot of fake storecredits, plus i got my friends to do fake exchanges/ringups all the time...got a few dewalt toolkits and chainsaws and lawnmowers

I got fired yesterday after telling them the day before , a special investigator would be coming to my job to ask questions about me because i applied to afederal job that requires all sorts of background info , as soon as i mentioned to them that i applied to the job they said oh this will be considered your 2week notice . Nexy day i come to work around 10 am they call me to the back to talk and he basicly tell sme the whole situation was uncomfortable and that wedone , for me to just go home . pretty shady . haha i quit home depot, i worked overnight for stockin, use to love ridin the forklifts and the electric pallet jack, man that things fast, called it the rabbit, my last day i went out with a bang, went in, grabbed a forklift, took all my pallets down from the top, put em in a line in the aisles, cut all the shrink wrap so they would have to wrap it back up before puttin it up top, walked around takin stuff i wanted, lol. took like 10 of those flip out box cutters

and like 300 worth of copper pipes, had my girl pick me up in her peoples van, went home... they called me like 10 times that night, when i finally picked up they were like what the hell john? i said... efff yall bammas, haha

my reason for doin that tho was cuz they always made me look like a d bag infront of the managers, sayin i was movin to slow, i worked in inside garden, pesticides n chemicals n grills, n weed wackers n chainsaws n such, i use to get a average of 15 pallets a night to break down n stock up. n you gonna cry when i run a little over tryna get my stuff straight? naw brother. soon after that i got a call from one of the dudes i was cool wit from southeast DC. he told me everybody got fired in that junt for smokin n drinkin in the parkin lot during our lunch break, haha, i remember in the morning the managers would find 211 cans and blunt guts all over the parkin lot n in the store, haha. EFF HOME DEPOT FOR SURE
And we wonder why jobs are going to India & China...

i think it's more the principle...just cause they're a "major supermarket" this dude thinks it's okay to steal from them. be it 1 dollar, $125, or 1 million dollars it doesn't really matter. he makes it seem like if they were a mom and a pop supermarket stealing from them would be wrong, but since it's a national chain it's okay to take their money.

now do i think that dude is evil? no. i guess we're all entitled to make a few mistakes. but it doesn't seem like he learned his lesson. he seems quite proud of himself (like he pulled off some major heist). he made a mistake, got caught, paid the consequences, and we call ALL hope he learned a lesson...

maybe i'm CRAZY but i was raised to not steal anything. if you want something you get a job and earn the money to buy it. now don't get me wrong, if i were homeless, living on the streets, i just might steal some food if i needed to survive, but to steal money to buy some sneakers and weed? my mother would have disowned me and beat me like a drum.

Really though they don't care about us.They wouldnt mind taking a few dollers out of your pocket.So although what he did was wrong.It wasn't thatserious.I look at it as karma.I don't see what is "disgusting" about it.But I've watched a few films on major supermarkets and foodcompanies.I've seen some of the things they do.He got caught if he didn't I'd applaud him.

I got fired from Quizznos after 2 wks of work for not showing up one day. After sitting down and making my schedule with her the day before I was clearly offthe sched the next day...or so I Thought!!! my boy called like dawg she fired you cuz you didnt come in today...I was like what??!! I wasnt even supposed towork today, he says yea i know...but you knew something crazy was bound to happen working for this chic. Long story short the day she hired me she felt it wasvery necessary to inform me that she was a Meth user..."before"!

Im not too familiar with that genre of Pharmacy but Im thinkin that might have had something to do with the fact that she changed the sched and failed tomention it to me...or maybe she just has amnesia...IDK

1. they're not morally or otherwise obligated to care about us...it's his employer. he's shows up puts in his shift, they give him his paycheck every 2 weeks. and as long as that check clears the bank that's the end of their obligation to us.

2. whens the last time the supermarket went into your pocket and stole money? seriously? the owner of the supermarket run up on you in aisle 3 and jack $20 out your pocket?? just because you may not agree with all their policies/practices does not make them thieves. it means they are a business who are in this to make money.



They never stole from me.Many people have had there land stripped from them so the supermarkets and food company can save a few bucks.Many children in Mexicodont have clean water because they maximize profit that way.These Major Companys ruin many villages and familys.They are already filthy rich and feel noremorse in ruining lives to make a few extra bucks.Now that is disgusting to me.But if you think him stealing $125 from them is really that big of a deal.Thenyou should be happy that you have less things to worry about then other people.If that's so horrible to some of you then you will be in shock when you seewhat this world is really like

i steal from my job all the time, the way i look at it is, that the deposit i make at the end of the night is more then i make in a months worth of work andthey wanna be stingy with giving raises and what not, so i just treat all the on the side stuff that i do as putting in overtime.

my new hustle though is whenever customers leave receipts or forget them i keep the receipts, buy that same item with my employee discount or take it thenhave my boy go to other stores and return it for me for full cash back

big companies could care less about their employees and employees are expendable to them, you could be a good employee but if you speak up or complain aboutjustifiable stuff usually its curtains for you and in with the next corporate butt kisser. its sad alot of employees don't realize that because theirpretty much getting defacated on and they let it happen because to them a "oh your doing a great job, he's such a great hard worker" is the bestcompliment in the world to them even though most of the time their struggling while the higherups are doing good.
