Getting stationed at Ft. Dix, NJ

Getting stationed at Ft. Dix, NJ in Jan 2012. Trying to decide where to live since there are so many areas close by (Philly, Jersey Shore, Newark, NYC, etc). Any info on the area and advice on traffic, etc? Much appreciated.

You'll be a south Jersey. Its much the country part of NJ. Nothing really down there. Everyone is up north, near the shore or near Philly. But mostly up north. And the Jersey Shore is nothing like the shore. Its very conservative and laid back and expensive.
