Getting the shape back Jordan 11s

Bought these to restore. They're really beat so the shape around the ankle part is creased. Is there a good way to restore it? Also, has anyone ever painted the patent leather on these? I was going to just paint the leather part or should I paint the whole shoe or any recommendations. Thanks guys
