Arenas to visit Manila

Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas is scheduled to visit Manila on July 5-8 and a grand welcome awaits one of the six NBA stars from the celebrated Adidas brotherhood.
Arenas, 26, will fly in to launch three new signature shoes, visit Adidas stores, conduct clinics for kids, endorse socially-oriented projects like "Gawad Kalinga" and witness the UAAP basketball game between La Salle and Ateneo as a guest at the Araneta Coliseum on July 6.

not sure about ren-ren yabang but the flying a was scouted by the sacramento kings back in '96 for damn certain.a close intimate source toldme even mark pingris was scouted by the raptors a couple of years ago and was even invited for a work out.turns out mr.danica sotto was too scurd to even go tothe work out and was more than happy to just be a role player in the PI.

you guys are in for a treat, gil is one of the most down to earth nba players today, i'm sure kobe's appearance last year in the PI was great, butgilbert is the ultimate bball fan. he'll sign and greet every fan, take pictures, etc.

i see him too many times here in my area in dc

(wizards games, malls, on the road, etc). but it's not every day an nba superstar comes by to the pi.
