i recently picked up a pair of '99 ginger 14 lows and they had some black marks on both toe boxes that i tried to get out by using rubbing alcohol... well, i rubbed a bit too hard and actually discolored the toe box in those places as shown in the picture... i have white angelus paint that tried over it but i rubbed it off right away because the color didn't match, any suggestions? i have heard that you can add a bit of yellow to it to match the color of the aged white leather which i was considering trying, but will i be able to blend that in? any help is appreciated, thanks!

You can add a tinge of yellow to the white paint to make it look aged like you mentioned

But its hard finding that perfect amount so it matches

It would be much easier just add 1 or 2 thin coats of white paint to the whole toecap

At least then the white will pop and bring the colour of the shoes back to life
