This is unsettling if true.
When I drop off at UPS, I always try to have the worker seal up the box right in front of me. It’s not much, but at least it somewhat reduces the temptation of something like this happening.
Not sure what you can do to try and prove your case.

Did you get a receipt from UPS stating the weight of the package when they received it? You can claim there’s no way a pair of converse would weigh the same.

Did you drop it off at the UPS store and get a receipt? Those usually have the package weight on them.

Do you have any kind of evidence that you sent Trophy Room 5s? Where did you drop off package? Next time when you're at the ship center, take photos of the shoes in the shipping box prior to sealing it and take photos of the receipt UPS/FedEx provides you.
