yo how many "I"M GOING BACK TO THE HOMELAND (PHILIPPINES) NT!" threads do we need? - I'm filipino btw.

I never met a signle filipino person in my life but they seem to make up a majority on NT.

Don't go to Green Hills... They have a lot of fake shoes there.

That was the case for me too up until a few years ago, except for my babysitter when I was a toddler, she was. If it weren't for the internet Iwouldn't know a lot about Filipinos since there aren't a lot in Philly (where I grew up especially), which is kinda sad. My girlfriend is Filipinathough.

omg Divisoria was my very first taste of the Philippines when I went back in 06. it was the first place my moms wanted to go cause she lovescheap markets and it was the biggest culture shock ever. I took it all in though, everyone was saying not to drink anything but bottled water, even in thenice places, but at Divisoria I completely forgot and ordered a glass of Gulaman from one of the vendors...luckily I was alright

My first piece of advice - extend your trip. 2 weeks in the PI for your first time isnt nearly enough - i went for a month and still didnt feel like I got todo everything I wanted. If you want to party, I guess check out The Fort in Makati (I think its Makati) - its a big complex of nice restaurants and they havetwo clubs - Jaipur and Embassy.

Greenbelt and Rockwell are two of the nicer malls I went to. Supermall was alright too - Mall of Asia was just being finished when i was there so I didnt getto see it but I heard its huge and its not bad.
