In 3 weeks I'm going to the West Coast for the first time in my life. I'm flying out from DC to meet up with some friends then we are gonna drive back, from San Francisco to Washington DC. Longest road trip I've ever been on was from Baltimore to Louisiana about 10 years ago, so I don't really know what to expect but I'm really looking forward to it.
Can some of you guys give me some good ideas about some things I should do on the road, or some places I should try to see. I'm thinking of making a bucket list of crazy things to do and see while we're on the road.
Also, if anyone has ever driven across the country before, could you give me some advice/tips for the trip? I'd also like to hear on cool road trip stories you might have.
We're driving my friend's Honda Accord.
