Here are what the following choices will cost me TOTAL for 4 nights. And it might be a little cheaper if I sneak someone else into the room, ya diiiiiig?

Riviera: $80
MGM Grand: $200
Imperial Palace: $105
Harrah's: $155
Excalibur: $125
Treasure Island: $215
Stratosphere: $125
Monte Carlo: $200

recession, i know harrahs rooms are going for 40 bucks a night now. i would just stay at the cheapest spot, it's not like you're gonna bein your room alot anyways.

I'm guessing he's staying from like Sunday - Thursday but still, those prices are really low for 4 nights stay.

I like Palazzo.

we're actually staying wednesday -sunday, but its over thanksgiving weekend so that may be why.

I will be out there Thanksgiving weekend also - Getting married.

Her parents are paying for airfare and room. I want to stay at the Venetian, but they said that aint happening.

Not sure where we are staying yet, so good looks on the thread....

head out to the treasure island.

youll be in the middle of the strip and TI has one of the best clubs in vegas

Wow what a coincidence I went last thanksgiving break to vegas and it was also cheap, Paid $500 for mandalay bay with roundtrip tickets to and from NYC.

If your going with your boys and you have a feeling that you'll be out most of the time, then go for something in the middle, you don't need to go allhigh end about it but you still have to have a nice place to crash. I only stayed at MB but the place was great.

And also you have to think of how much money you want to spend in Vegas. I only brought $700 and I came back to NYC with $5.

I stayed at TI a couple of weeks ago. The rooms are pretty nice and we had a view of the strip. Monte Carlo is a piece of $#!%...MGM is probably your best bet. They have a nice pool but their table limits on the weekends go up to $10 minimums i believe. Try to stay at the Palms or Planet Hollywood if you can. Goodluck man and shake them dice and roll em!

Excalibur: $125 nahh .. That hotel is dope tho
Treasure Island: $215 Not a bad choice seems dead last time i went there tho

MGM. and go to fat tuesdays. get one of those huge drinks. hurricane and octane with an extra shot. nice start

Imperial Palace was garbage when i stayed there. If you want a good atmosphere that isn't too low budget, go with Treasure Island because it's in agreat location. I would also suggest MGM from your list, but its pretty far down the strip.

Been a few times.. From my experience.. do yourself a favor and stay on the Wynn end of the strip.. Save yourself cab fare.. etc.. just more stuff aroundthere..

HARRAHS HARRAHS HARRAHS HARRAHS...that's all you need to know. I've been to Vegas 4 times and Harrah's is the best place I've stayed so far.

It's centrally located....across the street from Caesars, TI, and the Mirage. It's next door to Flamingo, Imperial Palace, Casino Royale, and Venitian.

As for your other choices.
Riviera: $80 - North Strip sucks. All of the old run down properties are up there
MGM Grand: $200 - This would be ok, but it's really far south
Imperial Palace: $105 - only stay here if you're using the room to pass out in after long days of drinking. this place is a dump....but in a primelocation.
Harrah's: $155 - you already know my feelings toward harrah's
Excalibur: $125 - kiddie themed. Located pretty far South. I've never stayed here but my friend has. He enjoyed it, but it's a long walk to the centralproperties.
Treasure Island: $215 - Wouldn't be too bad. centrally located. If you want to spend the extra $$, this would be about as good as Harrah's
Stratosphere: $125 - NO, if you want to see it, just catch a ride to it. It's located all by itself on the north end of the strip. Plus, there's anarea between Stratosphere and the central strip that you do not want to be caught in at night
Monte Carlo: $200 - nice joint, but overshadowed by NY NY on one side and City Center on the other.

BTW...I'll add that I cannot wait for City Center to open.

Just a heads up - there's an orbitz code right now for 75 bucks off a four night stay... check it out over at slickdeals if you don't have it already.that could get you somewhere even nicer.

I'm staying at the Trop the 2nd week in march... it's a craphole, but it's on a good corner and it's going to be cheaper than almost anywhereelse in town... i'm gonna have 4 nights, flights (from pa) and hotel included for under 300 bucks when my friends and i split up the hotel - that'sover a weekend also, no weekday rates here.

So yeah - it's goood times.

If you were to go for like a sunday-wednesday trip in the next few months, you could get real solid rooms in like the MGM or similar properties for about 50bucks a night. Good times right now.

Palazzo, stayed there for my 23rd birthday. Good limits on tables, bomb rooms, right near Tao.

stay at Imperial Palace because it is right in the middle of the strip and it is cheap

you are not gonna be in your room most of the time so having a nice place is point less if you are on a budget and that means more money to drink, gamble andclubbing

it aint the nicest place but it gets the job done

Disregard every other post in this thread. This guy knows wussup

depends what you're going for... I just got back from MAGIC (overrated, mad HYPE) and stayed at the Wynn Encore for two nights. $250 a night, but the roomis more than worth it if you're planning on relaxing in your room even for 3 hours.

palazzo > venetian is all i can say. always get 2-3 free nights stay thur-sat. get a players card ftw when u gamble. especially if u gamble big. thats how uget the free night offers.
