Going to New York for New Years Eve?!??!! GOOD or BAD Idea???

I avoid times square like the plague on regular days, there's no way that I'm going anywhere near that hot mess on New Year's Eve.
my sentiments, exactly.

and most new yorkers don't particularly care for the ball drop. as an alternative, go out to dinner, then maybe grab a drink or something at a bar orlounge close to where you'll be staying.

Bring her some other time.

There's nothing too spectacular about NYC on New Year unless you're from the Midwest or something.
