Definitely appreciated. My sister and I had a lot of fun with our parents growing up ad if they really were our play friends but we also had a respect for them that kept that friendship from being that of one's we had with kids our age. With a friend your age you're going to argue every now and then or yell at. Never with our parents. We weren't perfect children but we were made aware of the line drawn between them and us and the reason for it.

This week I've seen two instances where a kid should have been yoked up. One where a 4 year old was demanding ice cream. The mom says nope not with that attitude. The boy's reply? "YEAH WITH THIS ATTITUDE!!" The mom sighs and walks off with him

I always post in the parent threads & say the same thing. When you're ready, being a parent is the best thing. My wife & I have a beautiful 8 year old boy. We couldn't have asked for a better child. He inspires me to be a great person & has taught me more than I have taught him. I live to spend time my family. Don't get me wrong, it's hard work. The hardest thing you will ever do bar none, but I live for it & wouldn't trade it for anything. I can't believe he's growing up so fast & I'm proud of the person he's becoming.

not to judge, because all kids not love. But as someone who was adopted, it is my BIGGEST pet peeve to see people adopt kids from other countries.  There are so many kids stuck in the foster system is this country that need adopted

yea, I feel its a slap in the face to adopt another kid from a diff country, when there are tons of kids here. Sorta like how I personally wont donate to other countires organization causes, before I donate money to stuff in the US.

Im getting one from Columbia to save him/her from FARC Guerrillas
And Im getting another one from china, cause they so cute.

If I some how get super rich I might get more and ones from here.

Thats true.

Its easier to adopt in other countries though,U.S makes adoption more complicated than it should be.
