I just appreciate really good genuine people. People who speak, people that will hold the door for you, the ones that have your back through whatever, the ones you can always call on,  people that won't hesitate to lend a hand to a stranger, people that just like to talk and spark random conversations... people with big hearts, full of life... Kind, courteous... You are appreciated.

But as far as speaking goes, I speak based off of mutual eye contact unless you are someone I REALLY KNOW. Im not gon break my neck to talk to just anybody. If I walk past you give you eye contact and you dont return, then you dont deserve to be spoken to.

I love being a good person. It literally makes my day and life better when I have the opportunity to do something nice for someone, no matter how minimal.

+1.

Even that fact that a lot of the time, I don't get reciprocated (no matter how minimal), it doesn't stop me from being 'that good person'. Somewhere down the line, someone is really going to appreciate my actions more-so than another person might, and to me, that's worth it.

That makes no sense... return the eye contact?
Or speak first..... how can someone see you if they never really saw you

What about those people who are walking 30 feet ahead of you and want to hold the door for you? You're enjoying your nice stroll into the building but this "oh look at me I'm so nice Xanax popping smiling for no reason" dude wants to hold the door for you, expecting you to pick up your pace because he is kind enough to hold the door. BRO, DON'T WORRY, I CAN MANAGE THE DOOR. This behavior is very forever-alone-%$@.

The rule is 10 feet. If someone is within 10 feet behind you, it is okay to hold the door. Anything more than 10 feet is unnecessary. Anything fore than 15 feet is borderline creepy. 20+ feet and it's obvious you are craving some kind of human interaction that you don't otherwise get in your life.
