You didn't like Arrested Development, I'm tempted to not suggest anything to you as a punishment.

From the list of shows you've heard good things about, I'd suggest Parks and Rec, Boardwalk Empire, Californication first and foremost because they're on TV currently so you could catch up. Then Sopranos, Party Down, Eastbound, early seasons of Weeds. The others are good too but I'd go with Parks/Boardwalk/Cali first.

Of course watch The Wire as well, OZ was good, as was Six Feet Under. Can't forget about Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, first ten years of the Simpsons, King of the Hill, Futurama.

Also use the search because these threads pop up A LOT.
