Does anyone here currently use google voice?

Is it possible for Google Voice to replace a carrier's SMS plan?

never seen somebody stutter when typing.

i have google voice, but thanks to this POS at&t, i never got to use it. the free SMS is nice, seeing how companies rip you off with sms plans. hopefullyit does replace them

I have the Blackberry Tour for Verizon. I forgot my Google Voice number, how do I get it back? And is there a free app for BB's?

I'm trippin' LOL, I meant calls from your laptop.

that would be cool for when my phone dies, cuz I don't have a landline.

just log into google voice and it should be at the top

i believe google bought grand central, so yes, same company.
 
Ahh I see. I only have one phone line so I don't know if this would help me much.

A friend of mine has it on his MyTouch. They gave him a seperate number and he calls from NY to Jamaica for <$.05/min

After you give google your email, they should send an invite within a few weeks.
