I really dont understand the pessimism with which the majority of you view the idea of marriage simply because the law favors a female....if this is your fear, then get a pre-up, have separate bank accounts, dont be a **%%!** and cover yourself...or just believe in the commitment and work through your issues instead of running away in hopes of finding something better....

let me say this if you will throw away years over something like marriage you will be one lonely person and i feel srry for you cuz you will come across bigger problems before you ever make it to the marriage convo

@ grown folks still acting like kids needing "labels"or not wanting to be "labeled" as something

@ giving up on being with somebody cuz it has to be one way or another for anything

we been together damn near a 3rd of our lives

@ the thought of calling it quits over marriage

and i never said i didnt want to get married i just asked for some positives on it

When you can see the positives that's when you'll be ready for marriage. Until then, don't sweat it.
