i THINK these auctions the cars go for cheap b/c 1. you dono the history behind them and 2. they ONLY accept cash (this one i THINK, otherwise wont be socheap)

i was thinking about this but never had a chance to go. if i do and come across a s2000................damn i'll be pissed cause i wont have the $ for it.

Anyone remember the TV commercials that advertised gov't auctions where you could get BM's and Benzes for $100? I knew the feds would NEVER letanything go for that cheap. Anyway, I knew this older drug dealer that had a raggedy old S-10 Blazer that got seized by local police; I heard from a friend ofmine that the car had 6-8G's stashed in the interior panels...I never wanted to buy a hooptie so badly in my life.

http://www.policeauction.com for listings. I've heard it's basically hit or miss. There are people who do itfor a living, just scouring these for things to resell.
