my wife is a size 9 womens in jordans/nike

size 7 mens

is size 7grade school the same as a mens 7?

yes but its a 7 in youth.same thing. mens sizes usually run from 8-14. rarely is there a 7 in mens in jordans

Sizing wise, yes. Only difference size 7 between men's and kids is men's have more support because a child doesn't require the amount of support an adult does.
