We going to talk about inconsistency like Bogans, Korver, and Brewer are any more consistent this season?

Before T-Mac got the nod as PG, it was actually his defense off the bench that was more effective than his offense.

He can definitely help a contender off the bench.

Yeah, he probably would have been Rip Hamiltoned already if the Bulls signed him in the off-season. But now would be a good time for a contender like the Bulls to rent him just to help the bench. He has accepted the fact that he's not the "star" anymore even on the lowly Pistons.
