Well I think the Sugar rays were def the point when people tried to pass them off as retail instead of early release. Def crossed the line at that point.

Bingo! if these were indistinguishable (same quality inside/out) from RD pairs, China man would be selling them on Ebay and CL for $300+
Don't underestimate the Chinese my friends. When you think you got one over on them it's usually the other way around.

Not sure what thread you are reading.
People say the GM pairs they are getting are close enough to retail pairs (in their eyes) to justify the price vs what the current value is. For example, someone got space jams and Concords for something like $330 shipped total where either shoe individually will cost that or more if it were a release date pair.

It's not about sending a message to anyone.... It's about being able to cop kicks that are exactly the same as those from an authorized retailer, but at a fraction of what resellers are charging.

Heck I'll admit it. I sell GMs on Ebay & craigslist and make an extra 2000 dollars a month just flipping shoes. All I need to do is sell a couple of pairs of Space Jams and DB4s to reach that number. It's so easy that it's scary. And if someone has a problem with the shoe or questions the "authenticity" I'll gladly refund them their money. But I'm milking this cow until it dries out. There's a boatload of people hustling like this.
