GTA Vice City was set in the 80's

San Andreas is the best in the series by far. The sheer absurdity made it the most fun I've ever had playing a game and just everything,the setting,story. San Andreas on current gen graphics would be incredible

On the game channel I saw a lil segment of gta 5 and they showed a teaser poster of GTA V and on the poster on one side it had niko bellic and said liberty city under him and right next to him was CJ from San Andreas and under him it said LA. And the way they were position is they had there backs together like if they were gonna be working together in this game. Also heard you can fly from liberty city to LA.

I played the PS2 version to the extreme. Did everything that was possible in the game, completed it 100% of course, maxed out all my weapon ammo. Even had my money go to $9999999 by betting on horses.

Now I'm playing the Xbox version.

So i find my PS2. Still works 

 That thing is a tropper. I remember when i went with my mom and dad to go cop the afternoon it released. And it still works fine ever since 

And ive always had my copy of San Andreas by my CPU. 

So i go hook up my PS2. Put in SA. But i noticed the CD is OD scratched up. It reads the disc. Starts loading up, i hear the music and see the character screenshots. I havent played this in forever and start getting amped. Fades to black then it just stays at the black screen. freezes 

Thee Sadness ensues ....

I wish R* would get off their lazy #!+%@ and remaster GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas in HD like a ton of game companies are doing for game franchises like God Of War, Metal Gear, Prince Of Persia. Have done.

That would have satisfied a bunch of people while we wait damn near 5 years for GTA V to release after GTA IV came out and was the most overrated game EVER that didn't deserve perfect 10 scoes it got.

I'm with you on the remake but R* lazy? RDR and LaN were solid. Sure they can crank out gtas every year but that hurts them in the long term. When the gta bubble burst they wouldn't gave anything to rely on.

But as gamers we complain either way. Assassins creed, madden and CoD release games too often, gta not enough.

i just finished replaying GTA san andreas a few weeks back, now im replaying vice city. GTA is hands down the best of the series. i could never really get into GTA IV. visually it was a lot cleaner, but i didn't like how the character movements and the driving was. also, i HATED the display. i like the classic display of the screen on vice city and san andreas, but not on IV.

oh, and radio los santos is the truth
