***GTA V???***

LA Noir is a Horrible game IMO
Not even close to a horrible game. It has some flaws but it was one of the most engrossing worlds I've played in. If they do a sequel and correct these, it would be an excellent game.

I never understood people who pass on games of such high caliber as the GTA series. Top notch writing, dialogue, soundtrack, etc. Even if you don't find the gameplay suitable for you, you still get an experience that can't be replicated anywhere else.

LA Noire is definitely not a horrible game. :|

I always liked Mafia style games, Always liked Mafia II, Don't think the game lived up to it's expectations though, Definitely could've been better.

Word to Scarface, I was so disappointed in that game :{

LA noire sucked hard. It was cool for the first 5 or so cases, but then you realize that there is no mission variety. You do the same thing every case. The interrogation system was borked. Choose the lie button and your character speaks calmly. Choose the doubt button and he launched into a tirade. Made no sense. He rarely reacted how I was expecting him to. And as far as engrossing worlds go, it ranks on the low end of that spectrum. The open world was huge and completely useless. Avoid the game at all cost. Total snooze fest.

Crazy talk. Vice City was the best GTA imo funnest missions, gameplay was dope. I've beat GTA 3-SA multiple times no cheats. VC the most lol. It was probably the funniest too. Not to mention the soundtrack. VC :>

Co sign.

:hat

I think it's a generation thing.People who weren't born in the 80's and didn't experience all the good stuff from that decade can't appreciate GTA Vice City.

I mean heck I remember just popping in the disc and playing it for the first time and hearing Michael Jackson's Billie Jean playing while you cruised the city :Nthat

IV isn't as good as San Andreas, but the hate IV gets is ridiculous. "Trash"??? :rolleyes GTHO!

As for Vice City, it's nothing but a mere suburb compared to San Andreas. The isolated landscape areas that allow for some crazy vehicle stunts. Jumping off Mount Chiliad with the super fast NRG-500 bike >> anything Vice City has to offer. The only place where you can have any real vehicle fun in Vice City is at the airport.

idk, i was born in 89, absolutely no recollection from early 90s so cant even say i remember the vapors from the 80s, but i do think the hate for VC is unwarranted, pullin up to the club on the corner in that white infernus with shorty, and then lettin the yoppa speak on the exit>yo evil kinevil stunts, i definitely liked VC and wish they would expand and make graphics better, my mans Vercetti had lego hands

Yeah, the whole feel of Vice City was bad as ****.

Although it wasn't anywhere near as big as SA or had as much stuff to do, VC was my favourite setting for any of the GTA's.

Usually the people who didn't like LA Noire or claim it's horrible are the same people expecting it to be a GTA style type of game.

The game is a crime detective game.

So picking up a hooker and taking her to the club is fun? Ahah I guess but like someone said earlier the only fun you get is near the air port where the military base is at. VC did have fun missions but there was a lot more to do in SA. The map is bigger (L.A, S.F, Vegas, and even the country side) while your just stuck in Florida. Flying jets and helicopters and parachuting. You could also recruit up to 9 goons and take over territories. Triathlon on Mt. Chilidad was fun as hell. I can go on all day. VC was fun but ya'll trippin to put it first against SA.

Red Dead
Red Dead
Red Dead

I bought Red Dead GOTY about a month ago but haven't popped it open cause I'm in the middle of GTA IV... should be almost done. I'll wait to play the expansion packs because everyone says Red Dead is great.

No Mention of Max Payne 3 though? Game is DOPE.

GTA IV is a cool game but the storyline is not as enjoyable compared to previous versions. It's not a bad game by any means and I still play it every once in a while just for fun.

One of the major gripes I had with GTA IV was the lack of clothing options. Niko gets a ton of money and all he gets are the same 4-5 jackets and suits

Any info yet on the main character for GTA V?

Yambs would be too real.

:lol :hat

VC was prolly my fav as well just cuz of the 80s theme...SA was dope as hell too both classics...still havnt beaten IV but ima get back into it before this new one drops...what the latest with a timeframe of release?

This, I liked the game but it's understandable that some people hated it.

and I agree the VC story line and theme :hat > *

Here is why so many NT'ers claim & say GTA San Andreas is the best ever.

-It's the answer to every kid on here who grew up in the 90's and watched all the flicks about the hood (Boyz N Da Hood, Menace II Society) who also wanted to be about that life but really grew up in a middle class neighborhood.GTA San Andreas let players be that G in a video game.
-The game with it's massive map size and all the options you had to do in the game was really like the Gangster version of The Sims.
-R* like the always do in most of their games just nailed it again on the time period, dope soundtrack, vibe, and even the detail for the game. the story line was dope also.

In my opinion - San Andreas > Vice City > GTA III > GTA IV

Just being able to parachute out of planes, pilot them, land them, piloting helicopters, turf wars (anyone ever catch a Los Santos Vago in San Fierro? Shot 'em down quickly with the M4 and got the territory highlighted

), dope soundtrack, great storyline, huge map and getting the goons to ride or die with you. Also I liked how it was tough getting out of 2 stars, you'd have to grab one of them stars in them hidden locations (some would be in a property if you'd done some stuff for the cops).

Never played GTA I, GTA London 1969, GTA II, Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories or The Ballad of Gay Tony so it'd obviously be unfair to rate them.

I think I might've played Chinatown wars on someone's portable device or on one of those demos they have in GameStop. Only played for like a minute before I had to leave so I can't rate that either.

Overall, I can't wait for this game to release.

Looks nice. I hope the make handling better on the car in GTA V

The problem with IV for me was that it was way to big to ever remember where anything was. looking at a map to go get everywhere sucks, I memorized just about ever area in gta 3-SA.

oh and btw Red Dead is ******g horrible.

If you like herding and riding miles to kill one person every mission over and over, then play it.

way to take my statement out of context, i didnt even mention if it was better than any other gta chapter, my whole point was that VC is gettin mad hate and thats foul

I could never get into RDR because of the time period and what came with it.

Cars >>>> Horses

AR's & Rocket Launchers >>>> one shot musket and whatever other low tech weapons
