guys my PS3 wont accept any disks

So I bought Fifa09

i havent played on it for a while so i pressed the eject button, nothing came out

then I put Fifa in there then all of a sudden it starts to take it in and madden was coming out

I held on to the FIfa for dear life and i took out madden also

and now i try and put in games and it wont accept it, and makes a weird noise when i press the eject button

cmon niketalk help please

some of the users on some sony forums i just checked said that they had similar problems- only remedy was them callin sony and sending their ps3 in for repair

Okay I'll help:

1. Go the PS3

2. Turn it on.

3. Wipe any dust near the slot.

4. Blow and hope the PS3 remembers the nes.

5. Post back on NT to realize google is your friend.

10 is a miniscule number compared to the 360 owners on NT who had their own problems.

Bought the PS3 at launch, the 360 a month later (good sale at Toys R Us). Within three months, my 360 got the red rings and scratched up my brand new games.Also add in the fact that it was louder than a '92 Escort. My PS3 runs smoothly and quickly, and i'm enjoying the free online gaming.

cut it out with the ps3 / 360 fan boy stuff. Do you have a dusty house? Ps3 has huge holes for the fan. i think that is the problem. Mine acts up from time totime. Get it fixed and make sure it isn't around dust.

same thing happened to my buddys, gotta send it in or take it to where you bought it.
my 360 got 3 red rings, got it replaced, then got 2 red rings last week and had to pull a switch a roo

what's a high number? 10%, 20%, 30%??? according to several forums, its either the disc laser going out or the ps3 overheating on the 60GBs

not too long ago we we're getting a new "my xbox RRODd" post like every day, we're probably not gettin em because these people probablyhavent gotten their 360s back yet

at these xbox dudes taking advantage of their chance to pounce, my guess is that these problems are like the "disc read error" - once sonyfixes it, its one and done, unlike these dudes who are sending in their xboxes like 5 or 6 (or 11) times

People fail to realize that a lot of 360s were crapping out shortly after being bought, and some right outta the box.

In the PS3 thread, the joints that are going are the 60 gigs--you know, the ones that were released over TWO years ago?
