Hairstyle suggestions?

I have a round face and as I read something spikey would probably be best for my facial shape.

No faux hawks, I'm looking for something natural not something that need a lot of product.

Also not really into korean hairstyles because I would like to have something short on the side well at least enough I can get a shape up.

I have straight soft hair btw

Another question though, at the moment I'm wolfing.

My hair on the sides are going a little past my ears, I was wondering if its still possible to get a low taper and a shape up?

Because the hair on the sides would be too long, so would he trim it off with scissors? Because I know tapers are only for the sideburns and back

NH but it'd be easier to tell with a pic what your talkin about. And when you say your not into Korean styles, does that mean your Korean (I would assumeyea, but you never know with NT)?

And to be honest, a blow out really is just a taper, you just leave more on the top. It sounds like you do want the guido cut from the way you described it.

Nah I'm not Korean, I just mentioned that part because it seems to be the answer.

And for the record I don't want a guido cut, when I'm talking spikes I just mean mainly the top, not the sides.

But I already have what I want in my mind, basically just a low taper fade and basically I'm just going to mess with the hair on top.

I want the hair on the sides to be down not stick up or out, will a taper achieve that?

No Im sorry I really dont get what your trying to achieve. It sounds like you want a hightop fade. And now you say your not Korean so now im even moreconfused. And you know what you want so you really didnt need a suggestion. All in all, this thread fails.

I can understand how it can be seem like that. I always thought guido hairstyle was spike everything, I'm looking for just spiking the top and having thesides down.

Aight I guess. But again neither of those guys have a shapeup. And the shapeup goes along with the blowout (im gonna call it what it is and not the"guido" anymore). If you dont want to say you got a blowout then fine. But I can almost guarantee that if you post pics after you get it that will bethe consensus just by the way your describing it.
