The Jason reboot from 08 (I think) was
Ok too. Def worth a watch for any horror movie/ slasher movie fan

yah, but i don't part 2 without the mask or 1
and part 5 is a throwaway (almost as bad as halloween 3 really) though it uses the same central character from 4 & 6 i think

Yeah, he wasn't really in part 1 and in part 2 he doesn't have the hockey mask yet. 2, 3 and 4 is still my pick as the trifecta of the series, part 4 being the best IMO. Part 5 has some continuity with Corey Feldmans character returning, but its not very good. After that I start to lose track and they all kind of run together :lol

Halloween 3 slander though ? :{ I am disappointed

Halloween 3 is actually a pretty decent movie IMO. I think people disappointment is in the fact they should have released it separately instead of making it part of the Halloween franchise. IIRC their intention with 3 was to make the rest of the Haloween franchise an anthology style group of films where each film depicts a different story taking place on Halloween. But people reacted so poorly to a Halloween without Michael Meyers they returned it to a slasher franchise in the style of the first 2 films.

Does anyone watch the Haunting Hour on Hub Network ?

It's a Canadian RL Stine children's series along the lines of Goosebumps or Are you Afraid of the Dark. I was turned on to it recently and some of the episodes are pretty decent. I guess it's been around for 4 years, which surprised me because a lot of the episodes are very dark; ending with kids getting killed or becoming permanently disfigured/disabled. I figured Moms would have banded together to get it pulled off the air or something.

It's worth a watch, but keep in mind it's a children's program so the acting is terrible and while some of the stories are pretty good, others are downright terrible.

I have a routine october/halloween tradition which is watching jennifers body and monster house :lol :rolleyes For some reason october has always been my favorite month and halloween my favorite holiday growing up. 25 now and still feel the same.
