My last HP thread didn't work out that well, I just wanted to converse with some HP fans.

I'm in the process of finishing HBP again before the movie comes out, as well as watching all the movies again. I read "Fantastic Beasts","Quidditch through the ages" and "Beetle the Bard" a few months ago, that killed the urge for a while.

You know, favorite characters, things you liked best about the books,things you wish JK would do now that the series is over.

For example, I think that it would be cool to have a spinoff series of the little Ron's and little Harry's running around.

Harry should have died at the end of the last book, the ending was so weak.... or maybe it was just weak cause I started reading the books when I was like 12and by the time the last one came out I was 20 smh.

yea i kinda thought that too... Him dyin and comin back was kinda dum. I havent read any of em since the last one came out... My memory is kinda iffy on whathappenes in the last 2

They had to cater to the children reading the books.. you know how much children would be distraught and crying after finding out he died?

and I take it the HALF BLOOD PRINCE is book 7... I heard something about DEATHLY HALLOWS being a book, which one is that???

Thats what made the resurrection cool in my mind. He let himself be killed for everyone and they asked while he was dead did he want to stay deadand he didn't. I mean that part to me was well written.

Nah we on the 6th movie
HBP is the 6th book and Deathly Hallows is the 7th book

Yea they limited her powers... but in a way she's limited anyway... they always make the point to prove than Hermione is all book smarts... if she didnthave Harry & Ron she'd be lost... and vice versa

Funny I just finished reading the whole series again yesterday. Yeah I agree that Harry should've died or there should've been more to the ending.

that 2 part movie thing doesnt sound nice at all.. I meanas a constant movie goer, Id say let it be done with this one movie if its the final in the book...

Why would u get flamed? I've been reading these books since middle school. I'm 21. I haven't known people that long! Me and WebNerd was talkingabout this earlier about HP withdraw. But we have to face the fact that it IS OVER. FINISHED.

I just reread Half Blood Prince, and while I actually really like it I don't see it being a great movie. It's really a lot of flashbacks and talkingand thinking, which is fine in a novel but will probably bore all the people who don't read the books.
