I haven't really liked many of the movies because they leave out so many details and the details are what make the books so great.
You didn't?! The clues were there from the beginning. Parseltongue, the pain when he was near, how easy it was to look into each other'smind. Also the reason why he was almost placed in SlytherinOriginally Posted by C2345air
I'm the worse person to go watch the Harry Potter films with. I criticize every single little detail of the films, and if there is something I believe should have been kept, I make slick remarks. Honestly, the reason they don't include everything to "appeal" to fans is bs, the fact because, they end up NOT appealing to the TRUE fans. 5th movie was honestly, a weak adaptation of the novel; longest novel, shortest movie? Pathetic.
I'm anticipating the 6th movie, only because the last two novels are imo, the most significant of them all, and the previews portray the movie as a successful interpretation of the novel. But I believe I will be walking out of the theater complaining about some minor detail they left out. Always, I know myself, it never fails.
Btw, my opinion on the 7th book's ending, considering the whole "Harry's death and resurrection", is that Rowling could not have done something any better to end his journey. I mean, the fact that he himself was the last and final horcrux needed to be destroyed in order for Voldemort to be killed, who expected that? Honestly. I did not. After the movie, I'm rereading the 7th book to see if any hints are given off, but in all honesty, I never saw it coming. Can you imagine the false pride Voldemort felt in finally "killing" the person who put him through misery? And then he realizes he destroyed himself?
Man, I can go on for hours... :/

Why would u get flamed? I've been reading these books since middle school. I'm 21. I haven't known people that long! Me and Webnerd was talking about this earlier about HP withdraw. But we have to face the fact that it IS OVER. FINISHED.![]()

i did too until they first introduced the Horcruxes. The explainations made sense. I mean he went to kill Harry to make one and the spellbackfired. It only made sense to me. You're not dumb for not catching it. A lot of people missed it.Originally Posted by C2345air

Like, it slipped my mind, and I know that seems so dumb of me, but I guess I didn't allow myself to see the BIG picture. It was obvious something had happened between them that connected their minds, but I was totally unaware that the explanation was quite simple. I just expected a different explanation for their connection is all.
