Scrubs? Clearly we aren't taking defense into account when evaluating players here, as per NT usual standards.

Hakeem Olajuwon and LeBron James is the answer to your flawed query, though.

Let's forget Iverson had the Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year and Coach of the Year that season.

They were playing in a weak Eastern Conference and other three team that they play were bunch of scrubs too , except VC but we know how overrated VC is

Lebron did the year they lost to the Spurs. You can also add Jason Kidd with the Nets but Kmart and Van Horn was decent.

defense was good for them that time and the east was a failure back then

I was about to bring this up, but if I were A.I., I would have probably gave up all three for a solid second scoring threat.
And I didn't even know Mad Max was on the squad. Was he even active for the postseason run?

"Carrying," a team is overused.

Without key contributions, be it rebounds, big shots, defense, whatever from certain players, said player would not have achieved greatness.

Prime example, people might look back on this year and say Dirk did it all. He did a lot, but they wouldn't have won without contributions of guys like Kidd, Jason Terry, Chandler, Marion, etc.

In twenty years, will we be talking about Shawn Marion's defense and oddly consistent scoring that helped them win? No, it'll be Dirk Nowitzki and MAYBE a little bit of Jason Terry.

What people really only remember is the end of games. That's why people remember Derek Fisher, Robert Horry, Ron Artest, etc.
