Has anyone put there zk1's in the washing machine?

Ive got my white zk1's that I've worn hundreds of times, open gym, practice, work, outdoor ball, to go vote, to go shooting, countless places since ibought them a few years ago but they are starting to smell and look beat, I've cleaned them up here and there and brought them back to life more than a fewtimes but again they are starting to smell, would putting them in the washing machine take the smell out and clean the laces without wrecking the leather? hasanyone tried this? ive only done it with canvas shoes and had pretty good results

I wouldn't throw them in the washer if I were you.

If you MUST, then make sure you take out the insoles and laces and use cold water and very little detergent.


Or if you're a size 12, check my sig and grab a new pair

do it, no biggie. i do it with all my shoes that's not suede. it will come out clean. trust me. and dont' put too much detergent.

What happens if you put too much detergent in with them?

You might break the plastic lace loop putting them in the washer

putting them in the washer isnt too bad, just take some precautions
