I will never accept the Black Indigenous THEORY. Literally no reason for the colonizers to lie. Everywhere else that they found dark complected people (Australian Aborigines, Aeta in the philippines), it was all recorded and was never a secret, why would finding black indigenous people in the americas be a big deal and kept a secret.
What a lot of black Americans don’t understand is that There’s a different word outside is great country, I didn’t know race existed until I came here in1995, never was a thing back when I lived in the Dominican Republic, But soon I got here my mind was almost poisoned by it. And Dominicans are only “black” when it benefits your view points , soon one of us do something negative all of sudden his “Dominican” my black friends do that all the time call me a Mexican when do things a Spanish person does but the wanna label me as black soon as it benefits their argument, I will always say Dominican when I get asked what am I or where I’m from don’t care who it pisses off
out here fabricating b. Hondurans are recognized as Hispanic/latinos by all other latinos.
So it took out another year to save?like i said, better have some new material by June.

I am confused. I have many students in my school from Honduras. Are we ONLY speaking of darker skinned folks from Honduras? No they're not. In Los Angeles most Hondurans are perceived to be black unless they open their mouth and speak Spanish.
Yea, proving colorism does exist in Hispanic communitiesI am confused. I have many students in my school from Honduras. Are we ONLY speaking of darker skinned folks from Honduras?
JUST like it does in the "black" community... that's the only point I'm trying to prove.
Yea, proving colorism exist in Hispanic communities![]()

It's because as the study shows here most "Latinos/hispanics" will identify as white by 3rd generation in America
Then why are Haitians considered black? Tainos ruled the whole island.
My Latino homies who are real tell me how racist his family is against Blacks and dark skinned Latinos. Colorism is a huge problem in their community.

Why don’t your aunts look like J Lo or Shakira?
Exactly real conscious Latinos will tell u how racist and misinformed their people are.Bingooo. The amount of racist bull**** that comes out of my grandmothers mouth when it comes to my father and his side of the family is absolutely insane. I ask myself does this women realize I'm black as well ?
that was my position before he said what he said.I will never attackninjahood for his feelings/beliefs. He (as ALL of us), is just a product of his upbringing. Dominicans have traditionally turned their backs on their African side of their makeup, so I understand (agree no) why he feels the way he does. All I can do is hope he is open to learning (some day)
They still have brown skin bro. They don’t look like Selena Gomez latinas. They’re colored people.![]()
my cousins and more aunts..you were sayin?
More African slaves were dropped in hispanola than the U.S. Dominicans prob have more African blood than African Americans which is why many of them look more African than American Blacks.
Yea, I am not sure how Ninja honestly feels that is just a THING in USAYea, proving colorism does exist in Hispanic communitiesJUST like it does in the "black" community... that's the only point I'm trying to prove.
Black Americans don't have the monopoly on blackness or black ppl. The majority of black ppl in the western hemisphere are Latino.in America, Black/african American are interchangeable...
of course we're gonna completely ignore this![]()
