Has NT been crashing anyone else's computer A LOT more recently?

I know for a fact my computer doesn't have a virus since I just reformatted last week from a virus I had (which I now think is from the yuku ads too. Hugehassle). I use Firefox and randomly over the last couple of days, sometimes when I open a new thread my Firefox will freeze for about 2-3 minutes and mycomputer gets substantially slower until I ctrl-alt-delete. I know its from NT since no other sites are open and it doesn't happen unless I'm on here.Has this happened to anyone else?

And for reference, one of the times I made a note about what ad was up when my computer froze and it was one of the "singles" ads that try to helpyou meet a partner. Meetsingles.net or something along those lines. I don't think I can come on this site anymore until this is taken care of, its a shamesince this is by far my favorite site on the net.

It crashes when I'm on windows.

I hop on the iMac when I'm visiting NT, because it doesn't seem to give me problems.

it's obvious there's a problem with YUKU .. so they should take step to move away from YUKU ASAP! I know is a hassle, but it needs to be done !

I was having the same problem with the crashes. I added Ad Blocker Plus (ABP) as an add-on with FF last night and have not had any more problems.

Everybody with Firefox should get Ad Blocker Plus. You don't even see the ads anymore on here and your computer is much safer. Also make sure you installthe latest edition of Java on your computer.

I couldn't have said it any better. Don't think I'll be hitting up niketalk from my laptop for a while unless I'm at the office (behind thefirewall).
