Having internet browser issues. Help?

Recently, my computer won't display most images whether I'm using Safari or Firefox. Anyone know why? I've googled the problem, tried most of the suggestions, doesn't help. Wondering if maybe someone's had this same problem. Thanks

emptying the cache.

restarting the browser.

clearing entire history.

playing with firewall settings.

This was happening to me with twitter last week. I was logging in and then the page kept closing.
I stopped using twitter as a result.

@doyung9 have you checked your ip to make sure its valid? might have a 169 or 0. using a router or connecting straight to your modem?
